So after hearing about how the LCP II is a single action, and seeing how it doesn’t have a safety, how safe is this little gun? Is it drop safe? I currently own one and am a little concerned...

Does anyone have any insight on this little pistol, and how it’s action works? Are there more internal safeties?

There is a long thread on this forum covering some or all of your concerns.

Probably some other ones are available also.

That thread doesn’t address the safety concerns. This interests me as well since I’ve recently bought an LCP 2 as a pocket gun for work

There is no firing pin block on it, so I passed on it.

The LCPs do not have a hammer block safety to block the hammer from hitting the firing pin when the trigger has not been pulled. But they do have a half cock notch that is designed to catch the hammer if it slipped off the sear.

Sold out at that link.

Gallery of Guns had 99+ of the Custom a few days ago. Davidson's must've done a deal with Ruger to get a batch of these made for them.
