TGX for P365? Login/Join

Does anyone know if Sig has plans to do that? That would be absolutely incredible.

More mass in the frame would not impact carry-ability much and would make a huge difference in the way the gun shoots I bet.

The TGX grip would go a long way to resolve the 365 grip issues that a lot of people have. I myself ended up selling my 365 because the grip was just to little to effectively shoot the 365, there's just not enough to hold on to IMO. All Sig would have to do is add some weight and a little more circumference to the grip and they'd sell bunches more. My bet is Sig will come up with a AXG or TGX grip. If so I'll be first in line for another one Cuz I really like the 365.

TXG? Spend the $10 or so for the Hogue grip, problem solved. The Wilson grip is also larger and available with a tungsten weight kit.

I'll be the odd man out and say I like the grip just the way it is.

OTOH, I have small hands and the grip fits me perfectly, almost like it was made specifically for me.

Ya, you can but I'm not fond of the look, I'm really fussy about how a gun looks. To replace the 365 I purchased a Kimber R7 Mako, it's a really good gun, great grip, great looks , great trigger and accurate.

I didn't know WC made a 365 grip? didn't you mean the 320

I'm interested in a thicker, even heavier grip if one were to exist. I don't know what I want to pay TXG money, though. I find the factory P365 grip (including the XL) to be just a bit skinny for my liked. Picking nits, though...really like the gun.

I do plan on getting one on the Wilson 365XL grips.

They do. Just released a few weeks ago.

I couldn't care less how the pistol looks, but care a lot about how it functions.

The Wilson grips are great on the P320. I have a Grayguns scuplpted grip on the P365 that I usually carry, and don't think I could improve on that. If Wilson would have made the side panels on their grips with some measure of texture (the little diamond pattern is slick, with no grip to it), I'd have been a bit happier.

Sig warns about duty use of their tungsten-infused TXG grip. I haven't seen any fail or heard of any failing, and have had no issues with mine, but any inclusion in a polymer part (bubbles, metal, whatever), even if it's metal dust, is bound to weaken the part, with the potential for cracking. A smaller part like the P365 grip module with thinner material, might fail, whereas the P320 may be just thick enough to work. I have four of the TXG grip modules in use, some of them have been fairly heavily used without issue...though most have been used with fairly light reloads, as they're all just for steel night at the local range (fun guns).

The tungsten rods for the wilson grip modules don't add much terms of weight; my perception is that they're more about balance and put a slight bit more pass in the grip area. They don't really do much for making the pistol much heavier, or for recoil, and they won't reduce muzzle rise (user grip does that).

I haven't picked up the Wilson P365 grip module yet, though I do plan to.

I don't want any more weight in my pocket. I carry the P365 in my right front pocket in a DeSantis holster, and for me it's like an even trade with a j-frame snubbie, only with twice the rounds. Weight is comparable. If I had a heavier grip module (eg, TXG, etc), I'd want the pistol either in an ankle holster or on my belt, and for a pistol this size, carry on my belt seems ridiculous. The whole point of the P365, for me, is that it does fit in my pocket.

What guppy said. I have 4 of grayguns modules now. The extra grippy laser etching is about perfect. I paid extra for the sniper grey because, well because it looks good. Lol

WC is girthier. I don’t know why you would want heavier. If course I want the stupid comped one now and I’m not sure I need that so I can’t throw stones.

I too have the laser etched GGI in sniper gray, which now sits in a drawer because to my hand the Wilson module is that much better. I can’t for the life of me think of a reason I would want to try a TXG frame on a 365, but then I didn’t think the GGI module could be improved upon. What do I know?

I have a Boresight Razorback and a Wilson module. The Boresight fits my hand better but the Wilson is less expensive and much nicer than Sigs base module. Recommend both.
