Smith & Wesson new release 3/15/21
Saw that Smith & Wesson is having a product release today. So far it has been revealed a new Shield plus 2.0 with 10 round magazine and extended 13 round magazine will be released to compete with Glock 43X and Sig P365. New shield comes with a flat Glock style trigger instead of the hinged trigger. Will also have a Performance Center 4.0 inch barrel version with optics plates available... with the new 10 and 13 round mags, that gun should be a hot seller.

Sounds good. Should be some competition for Sig and Springfield.

Interesting Smith is going away from the hinged trigger for this gun.

Anything else announced? Any new revolvers?

I saw ruger released a new one today too. Is today new gun announcement day or just a coincidence?

Yawn. More "me-too"ism.

Competition is good. $50 for a SIG P365 magazine is ridiculous. Hopefully, this will drive down prices at some point.

Sig P365 magazines are available for $38.00 (spend $100.00+ and shipping is free) from Osage County Guns

I hope S&W doesn't carry this into the rest of their line. I absolutely despise Glock "style" triggers.
One reason I went with M&P's was they didn't have the "safety" sticking out from the face of the trigger.

Will need to see the size, what’s different than an M&p 9c/2.0 sub compact?
Both shorter than a shield right?
