Melonite aka Tenifer is a product range wiht several options. Apperace of the surface varies witht the processes. It might be possible that AT is using a different melonite process the the US does. If you want to get closer information you have to ask Glock for the application method. Is it QP, QPQ, Nitrocarburized and phosphate finished etc?
