Ever buy stuff you really don't need, for something you aren't using or plan to use soon...

I did, 4 sig magazines to be exact, for the P250 SC in 380 I scored a few years back when the LGS kept used guns at the shops vs taking them to the shows. Bastages...

Sheedy Ern Ern had P250 mags for $9.99 each, figured that's about the only place I'd find them, so ordered 4 more,

Not sure why, I'm not shooting it, not buying much ammo or shooting like I did with the nutzoid prices.

Week ago I bought 4 more LCP MAX 380 mags too, still sitting on my desk, need to fill them up since I do carry the Ell CeePee...

That's the story for the day shopping for gun stuff for guns I'm not using that do not have boolits in them...

But hey, 10 buck mags, I mean, why not, right?

And, at that price, not a bad deal at all, considering the normal price for most Sig mags.

I lucked into a 3rd P320 mag when I did a swap with a member here. I went from a 9mm compact with 2 mags, to a 357Sig compact with 3.
IIRC, he threw in the 3rd mag for less than retail.

Need is a relative term. I don't 'need' anything but my wants and desires get the better of me.

I didn't need to buy that second P365 but I did because I enjoyed shooting the first one so much. Didn't really need the first one either.....

Same price for P224 mags, right?

Some mags you eventually just expect to not see anymore at some point. These, I think, qualify. That was my excuse for investing relatively heavily in P220 .38 Super mags back when Top Gun Supply had bought out SIG's inventory.

Then again, AKs have taught me to be sympathetic to mag whores in general too.

Finally, I'm also perfectly willing to agree that a half dozen spare mags is a perfectly sensible minimum for any semiauto pistol in the house.

I guess that what I'm trying to say is that I don't see a problem here.

A few weeks ago I bought 2 PSA AR uppers for my complete lowers. The uppers came without charging handles, sights or BCG. Cruising around PSA they had a nitride BCG and 10 30 round P-Mags for $120. I bought 2, so 20 more PMags. I already have enough PMags, but for the price I couldn't resist.

So I guess my answer is yes.

I have my extra mags bagged and in a large plastic tub. It weighs about 50 pounds. Does that tell you where I stand?

LOL you and me both, right now I just need more 380 boolits...

Then of course I'll buy a 30 Super carry pistol, and it will start again...

They are here, look great, Sig packaging and all... $9.99 each, such a deal!
