I have a P229 that I purchased a used P228 slide (complete upper)and locking block. I was able to swap out the slide and the locking block. Everything function checks fine. I hand cycled 9mm ammo through it using my P228 13 and 15 rd magazines. It seems to work fine, but the slide seems a little more loose than my P229 or my P228 slide. Has anyone else experienced this? I think I am good to go and will likely shoot it this weekend

Several 239's have loose slides and I've never heard of a problem due to the play.

That's how I turn my 228 into a 228 DAK. 229 DAK frame with a 228 slide. Has worked fine for years.
