If I will be flying with my Sig P365, and putting it in my checked luggage, the TSA website notes
Be aware that the container the firearm was in when purchased may not adequately secure the firearm when it is transported in checked baggage.
Can I ask if anyone has firsthand experience flying with the P365 confirming that the factory box IS adequate if I put 2 locks on it? Can I put 2 x P365 in the same box?
They've used a couple different boxes for them, but I would just buy a smaller Pelican or similar case and just be done with it. Get something that will fit a bigger gun, box of ammo, a couple knives, etc just to make it more useful in the future. To the best of my recollection most factory boxes have hinge pins that slide right out. You really don't want to be stuck with a problem at the ticket counter .

It wouldn't take much to defeat a padlock on an oem plastic pistol case, the case destroyed and the padlock still locked. A serrated knife could probably cut through the hasp area.
