| Obviously it is brand dependent, but I really like the "pop" the good ones give you during the daylight. I am running TFX's on my G23.3 which are both fiber-optic and tritium and have Siglite's on my P320cRX. Sometimes I wish for the TFX's on my Sig

| I like Dawsons on the P320F, because it's guaranteed to point of aim, and it does go there, exactly. The smaller dot takes up less acreage on the target and in the notch of the rear sight, making it easier to be more precise with the shot placement, especially for a target that's farther away. The green really seems to stand out, contrasts well with a black front sight, and is easy to see, with glasses on, even when focused on the target.
For low light, I like something with tritium, and the fiber optics don't work nearly as well. In theory, one silouettes the front sight against an illuminated target, but I can think of a lot of scenarios that aren't so ideal, and tritium does enable sight alignment visually as well as practiced press-out.
My carry pistols have Trijicon HD and Trijicon XR sights. Target and competition pistols have fiber optic fronts, and blacked out rears. |

| While I don't like them ascetically, as my eye sight has gotten worse they've become extremely important. I've put them on as many handguns as I can, and whether or not I buy a gun now depends on if I can add fiber optic sights or not. There have ben a few guns recently that I haven't bought, despite really wanting them, for just that reason. In fact I just spent north of $150 having one custom made for a gun. (ouch) I prefer plain rear sights in all cases. Any rear sights with while lines or dots I replace or black out.

| I like them on pistols with short sight planes like the Springfield hellcat but not so much on anything bigger..

| My eye just seem to pick up the orange fiber better than red or green, so most of my pistols are orange in the front, black in the rear.. |

| Yes I do. My shooting is outdoors in the sunlight and a narrow green fiber optic front with a black rear sight works well for me. Big fan of Dawson products.

| Red FO front, black serrated rear preferable, square notch for me. I like and use Dawson and Warren fronts and various rears (even OEM in many cases).

| My favorite fiber optic set up, that I've got is a red or green fiber up front and a solid black "U" notch in the rear. I've got one set up or another on my Wilson CQB, my RIA 9mm. and a Glock 19.

| I like my Dawsons better than something like Trijicon HDs. Although the FOs obviously have less advantages in low light shooting than tritium sights, they're not useless. Shot a low light class with FO sights and there was only one lighting circumstance (target backlit, no light from my end) that was difficult to obtain the sights. Every other lighting circumstance aside from total darkness, the FOs were perfectly adequate.
