Another Prime Elite 45ACP, to be exact. Got a nice deal at my local ACW dealer and didn't want to pass it up.

Its the Prime Elite with three additional options, which were the polished hard chrome finish, figured walnut grips and the ambi safety (which I could do without).

ACW builds some of the nicest looking and finest 1911's today, in my opinion. I got it brand new for about $1000 less than it would have been ordering it from ACW, so I couldn't say no. This shop gets amazing deals from ACW at times, being one of their best dealers and fortunately, they pass it along to me, being one of their best customers.

Alchemy is basically a subsidiary of Cabot Guns, but ACW and Cabot build their 1911's completely differently. Cabot uses the highest technology, while ACW is old school. I love both, but they are totally different.

Here's the Prime Elite page. Scroll down for options.

Some pictures...

I have a Prime Elite 9mm (left) and a Prime in 45ACP (middle). They both have the ball cut option, whereas my new one does not. I like both styles.

Yumpin yimmittys that is nice. I love hard chrome. It looks like a raised brass bead front sight ? I've handled, many years back, a Colt Diamondback .38 which was high gloss black chrome. Just a overall handsome but tough finish. Beautiful 1911 bac. Enjoy sir.

Thank you sir. The three of them have gold bead front sights. It’s standard on the Prime Elite and was an option on the Prime.

ACW makes a really nice 1911. I've got a Prime Elite .45acp with ball cuts and a ring hammer. It's one of my favorite 1911's to shoot. A MEUSOC will be in my future

Congrats on a beautiful threesome!

Gorgeous! I LOVE them clean like this!

For ME:
DA/SA=Sig 9mm or HK P30 LEM 9
Striker fired= Glock 9mm
If it's a .45= 1911
Suppressed= HK in .45
I like anything in 10mm

I haven’t shot this one yet, but I will. I have shot the other two. I don’t shoot them as much as most of my other 1911’s. I have some workhorses that see more range time
