CA craziness, P229 EE mag disco safety removal problem. I can get the slide off pull the block out. I found the culprit, per this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyQBOiNV0n4 I want to put the block back into the frame and get the proper allen wrench. I can not get that block back into the frame. So whats the secret to putting the block back into the 229 frame? Remove the trigger? Place the block in before the trigger?
finally figured it out....there is a reason the trigger pin has a screwdriver slot. The pin has a flat side that enables the locking block grooves to slide into. So the trick is get the block as close as possible then slowly turn the pin using a screwdriver in the slot. "Ah.... glock it aint", so there is more, if the block wont slide all the way into position, just leaving about 1/16" left to go, take it all apart again then turn the pin 180 deg...... this is indeed no easy glock
