Manual for older 220 SPORT "N" Sport Stock
Does anyone recall which manual was used for the above? Over the years many versions were used by SIG.

Are you talking about the owners manual?

Yes, user/owners manual.

Found this link. But there are others , so trying to ID the correct manual for that gun.

Here's one example, but not sure this was the correct version that accompanied the gun.

Mine is very generic for all metal P series Sigs but slightly different than the one linked above. Nothing specific with regards to my P220 Sport Stock.

Which run of N Sport Stock's are you referring to? There was a Sig Logo'ed Nill Grip run and another that was with the standard plastic grips.

You are on it a.lol.cat, the Nills w/Sig logo, but I do have another with the plastic grips, so I could use the info for both.

Looking through the manual I don’t see any special mention of the sport stock. For example, the section on sights does not cover adjustable sights but does go into details for the Sig sight tool and the dovetails. Breakdown of sport is no different than any other P series.

What information are you looking for?

Not looking for any specific info, just trying to obtain a "correct" manual for the gun when it is sold.

My Sigs from the early 2000s came with either one of two manuals. One was the one you just posted. The other was similar but the gun on the cover was cropped out on the grip and the page sequence was slightly different. I had close connections to the factory back in those days and took advantage of some special offerings. I don’t believe there was a “correct” manual. You got what you got.

My example with the plastic grips didn't have the manual or cardboard box for it so I cant speak to 100% what should be with that one. But it was also produced in 2010 by date code and is only around 2000 serial numbers from the other so in theory it should be the exact same. My Sig Logo'ed Nill Grip, Aug/2010 production, 220R-45-SPORT-N came with this manual

Marked as Ver 07.02 under the "Handling and Safety Instructions.

It was a black and white photo copy version that is common for this time frame from Sig

OK,
You guys made me go and pull one out of the safe for some pictures.

When these rumored to be imported, I ordered 4 of them. Two for me and one each for a couple of shooting buddies.

220R-45-SPORT-N is the part number with the Nills Grips
220R-45-SPORT is the part number with the plastic grips

I think there were two runs of these because of the popularity of the first run. The first run were all triple serial numbered, I am not sure of the second batch

Here is the box:

Here is what came inside it:

All of the examples that I have seen from the first batch had test targets included

Yes, the supplied manual was a PHOTOCOPY.

Thanks guys, colt_saa that box is in excellent shape and the gun as well...outstanding condition!! I bought mine used awhile back so original box, target, manual, was not included, but it was such a nice pistol I couldn't resist, you don't see so many around these days.

One of these days I will compile a series ala 12131 for all the different "Sport" guns that I've found and acquired over the years, I think I'm up to a bakers dozen.

Looks like mine and colt_saa's Sport-N's are build day buddies.
