I'd like to find out if the AXG module is in any way larger than the Sig med X-grip module.

In my hand my X-grip medium feels just little bit large. I read that one fellow thought the AXG
grip was bigger than the x-grip medium.

I'm looking for some additional thoughts on this.

I had the same general thought. Could be the removable grip panels.

I have wondered about this and was surprised when Sig announced it and I saw it had removable grip panels. I thought a stippled all aluminum frame would be almost identical to the 320 poly grip. But I have yet to see the AXG in the real world. Hopefully someone who owns one can shed more light on the size difference.

If you want an aluminum frame without grip panels for the P320, there is the Icarus Precision grip module available.

I changed my Medium X Grip module to the AXG module on my X-Carry and they both feel the same. I then changed the back strap on the AXG to Small. Now, it's a perfect fit. YMMV

It was not evil that made me dangerous. It was love.

My AxG feels smaller than a medium x grip.

AXG medium is like a P226. The Medium X-Grip is a little bigger, or at least a little blockier which makes it feel bigger to me.

I haven't tried the small AXG backstrap yet.

All my other P320's have Wilson grips. Range only guns of the tungsten weight inserts that Wilson and Armory Craft sell.

Thanks guys. It looks like the AXG isn't any larger than the X-grip med. size. Thats great to hear.

My next build is going to be the AXG module in the new titanium finish with the Sig bead blasted slide and the Armory Craft black brass grips all this revolved around the AXG module not being bigger than the X-grip module.

I'm wishing that someone comes out with some aluminum grip panels like the CZ Shadows have, they look fabulous. The Armory Craft look great also. Ah! to have choices is a good thing!
