I wanted to try my hand at some sort of artic camo or at least my interpretation of it. A few months ago, I picked up a spikes Viking lower and started collecting the rest. I already had some forged uppers and a PSA bolt. I picked up a Diamond head rail and flip up sights, and a PSA 10.5 inch barrel. I used a Larue grip that I bought on Black Friday and a PSA lower pistol build kit also from Black Friday. The brake is a Phase Five Fatman Hex. I used Battleship Grey and Storm Trooper white. I cut my own stencils on a Cricut. The controls, brake and the Fortis Hammer are Cerakoted Sniper Grey. I still need to pick a rod for the ejection port cover. I originally Cerakoted the controls and the comp in red. but it clashed bad and looked like a toy. Probably not everybody's cup of tea, but I like it!

I like it, and I see how you did it! I have plenty of black guns, so making one a little different is a challenge. Make it your own!

Tommydogg, mine looks just like yours except I left it all black, and I have a forward comp and MBUS and a MOE + grip on mine. Thinking about trying one of those KAK shockwave blades. Love the VRS-T, feels great in the hand.

Nice work on the camo, can’t wait to see a clearer photo of it. What grip is that?

Cool. Really like your more subtle interpretation of winter camo. Now onto the mag and pistol grip, right? Wink

I'm not sure if I want to follow suit on the mag and the grip yet. Here are some more photos!

You should find a sand color PMAG just to see how a 'whiter' color looks. I believe Magpul has discontinued the color run but there's still a few floating around out there. They also make for an ideal base tone for dyeing the mag housing into another color.
