Newbie here, picked up a SP 2022 in coyote color. trying to locate a couple 17 rd extensions in same color with no luck, has anyone ever tried painting them. Any do's or don't's. I have a friend possibly could make these extensions on a 3D printer. Think that would work or will there be alot of trial and error. Or just not worth it.

If you are just talking about painting the base plates I don't see why you couldn't do it, using the proper primer for plastics, same for paint, a simple rattle can spray to get close, provided you can find the right color..

They've held up surprisingly well.
