Get on the fifty!

Picked her up today, my first German Sig and X gun. Holy smokes. Already have a case of 9mm set out. I don't think I'll ever see my American Sigs in the same light. Will get some more pictures and one of the test target soon. Hope to have a range report in the next week or two.

Yes, man, I love the Skeleton. It is all steel, big, but very balanced, due to all the metal being carved off. Even the the X6 Skeleton is very balanced. Not only the metal is removed from the slide, but the inner surface of the frame is also lightened. And, that trigger, incredible. You can dial it down to 2 & 1/4 lbs. The only thing I don't like about the Skeleton is its grips. Looks nice but not grippy at all. I put the G10 Supermatch grips on mine, and it's perfect. Congrats on yours!

Holy Moly!! Great addition. X5's from Germany are some of the finest guns ever produced. Enjoy the heck out that.

It is more than just a gun. Pics make it look like a work of art.

Congratulations on your Grail Gun.

That's a real beauty!!
I have an X5 that came with those grips and, although they look nice, you can't get a good grip on them. Like Q said, spring for some G10 Supermatch grips, you won't believe the difference.

Congrats! Beautiful pistol. As a Commiefornia resident I’m “stuck” with my plain-Jane X5 Competition (the only X5 on the roster). I’m kinda happy with it though. It has a 2-1/4 lb. trigger, wonderful in all aspects, thanks to Robert Burke. And I replaced its no-traction polymer grips with Hogue G10 black-gray Gmascus checkered grips.

Shot my Gen 1, X-5 Comp just yesterday, for the first time in probably 9 months. It's so easy to shoot accurately it's almost like cheating.

Enjoy Your new one.
