I don't want to break any rules, so I won't post any info on the gun I am looking to sell, until I get advice on the right place to do so.
I did do a search & didn't see my gun model listed in the advertised area, so advice would be welcome.

Gun values can vary due to geographic region, as well as condition. Frankly, a sight like Gunbroker can be a good barometer to who is asking too much for your gun.

"what's it worth" is not something we like to see cluttering the board.

Thanks for being considerate.

Gunbroker can also tell you what the market is, at least for the past 90 days nationally,

create an account if you do not already have one, do an advanced search for completed items,

look at the sold items (ended with a bid)

since GB started charging for reserves, not many use them, so it will be ended with a bid (good indicator of value) or no bid,, (priced too high, no interest, or other)

keep in mind, this is a good reference, not good for regional variations
