Bought my first P320 X VTAC last month and it came with three made in Italy mags. Bought three more mags at the gun store and they were made in the USA (puke).

Are the USA (checkmate?) mags ok? I assume the MecGar made in Italy mags are superior?

The made in Italy mags have always been superior to the checkmate mags , in my estimation, at least for the P226, in my experience.

Any comments on made in USA p320 mags?

Doesn't seem to make any difference to me. I wouldn't do the promags, but Sigs mags are ok.

The ACT mags are good, too.

I have noticed no difference in function between the USA and Italy made SIG OEM P320 9mm magazines.

I can also say the same for USA and Italy OEM P226 9mm magazines. I have had no issues at all with the USA made magazines.

I’ve noticed zero difference in performance/fit/finish between the USA and Italian made Sig mags for both my P320s and P365s. I didn’t even know some of my mags were USA mags until someone asked a question about them on here and I checked all my mags to see what I have. I wouldn’t waste another second worrying about it.

No issues here either. The US I have seem a little tighter sprung, as the last round is a bit harder to get in than the Italian ones. But close my eyes and pick a mag, they’re all gonna run without hiccup.
