Standard P226 grip screws are too short. Any ideas where I can get longer grips screws that will work with wooden grips? I would prefer slotted, black, polished screws. “Elections have consequences, and at the end of the day, I won.” – Barack Hussein Obama, January 23, 2009

Do---or do not. There is no try. |
I think Hogue is your best bet. Call them first to confirm they have what you need.

According to TGS you need P239 screws for your P226 wood grips. These P239 screws are black but I don't know about polished. Sig Sauer Grip Screw, Slotted Head - P239 So I'd guess you need the screws of your choice for a P239 to fit your P226 wood grips.

https://gregcotellc.com/cart/hogue-grip-screws-c-101/ I would recommend Greg Cote and Hogue Extreme Grip Screws I've been buying them from before they were "Extreme" and they've always been top quality, within spec, etc. You can get P239 grip screws here the extreme hogue ones are good stuff, also regular P226 grip screws and more

Hogue is good, but they actually send the same screw (the short one for the 40/357 P229 and P229-1) whether you order for a P226, P228, or P229. So if you go Hogue, make sure to order the P239 screws. Formerly known as tigerbloodwinning
