It pretty much just says sit and wait. Maybe I'll get faster processing since they are LE serial numbers.

Maybe. I was just providing the link to make it simpler for members to find. Smile

Both of my SNs are in, now it's standby to standby. Just like in the army. I like the P320 and want to stick with it. With that in mind they have to go back for the fix.

Only difference between the old, defunct URL and the new one that works is the old one had "-2" at the end. Smells more like an IT issue.

Regardless, it's back.

None of these firearms caused a primed case to discharge. "

Awesome and the complaints about him wearing shorts/flip flops are about as valid as the complaints about them not following the "standard drop test protocols".

"He don't play tactical dress-up" I LOVE IT! Big Grin

SIG told me today the wait for a response/email/shipping label could be weeks. Weeks.

Then 4-6 weeks after that to get the thing back.

From the Sig website:

What is the turnaround time to receive my upgraded P320?

For the US Commercial market, once you contact SIG SAUER and register for the process, you will receive an email from us at a later date with a shipping label and instructions as to when you may return your P320. This may take several weeks, as we will need time to prepare for this program. Once your P320 is received at SIG SAUER, turnaround time will be approximately 4-6 weeks. This lengthy process is due to the high volume of pistols in the marketplace. Transit times may vary depending on your geographic location and receipt of your returned pistol.

No PPQ? As I believe that it is also one of only a few fully cocked striker pistols.

Not that I have doubts about it, just that it is closer in similarity to the P320 for the point that they are trying to prove.

SIG has officially entered a new term into the firearms lexicon:

"Legally safe".

See, P320's are "legally safe". Now, they are not mechanically safe, mind you. But they are "legally safe".

So we've got that going for us.

At my age, with two P320s I fear that I might "drop dead" before I get my pistols back.

System is down again for an upgrade. Sig said to wait an hour and try again.

The URL posted at the top of this page still opens. Does it not let you submit your info?

I didn't say it...

LOL.

But seriously, it does look like a guy won't have his shootin iron in top form {whatever that pans out to be...} for the best part of 3 months.

My 320 is a CA-9-TACOPS (5/26/17 build) and I plan to keep shooting it for a couple of months more before I register to send it in. By then I hope to have 2K+ down range. It is also my favorite suppressor host.

It doesn't say if you need to ship through a dealer. I'm thinking in PA as a non-ffl holder I'd have to. Maybe I'll check at my LGS this week. Glad I didn't buy that X5 last week. Long turnaround time, yeah. But all at no cost to the consumer. Not the worst deal I've ever had.

When they are ready for you to ship it to them they will email a shipping label you print off and ship it through FedEx 2nd day air. When it is done they ship it back to your home address.

Any suggestions on how to pack the P320 and Cal-x kit (slide and barrel) to ship back? I assume that they do not want us to use the original case to put the P320 in and put that in a FedEx box.

I have not shipped back to the manufacturer anything (yet) so I am not sure how to best pack and ship (plain Amazon box well wrapped??)

Would anyone who has done this more than once share what they plan to do this time?
