I am looking for a second P320 X-Five slide so I can keep one with the Dawson sights and mount an optic on the second. Whats my chances of finding just the slide? Or would it just be better in the long run to pickup a second P320?

I have two. One has a Romeo the other doesn't. It's just more convenient then having to keep swapping the red dot with the rear sight plate and it makes for a good back up.

Just get a 2nd gun. Here's a killer price on one.

It would be easier to just buy another one. Just make sure that if you purchase a second one that they are the same generation.

I have one of the very first ones that shipped and one that was just made in March. The FCU's and slides are not interchangeable. The new generation slide has the milled channel in it like all of the P320's that have been sent in for the recall.

I have a X-Carry and the X-Five I am new to this stuff. I plan on starting to shoot some local 3 Gun matches and some Steel Challenge matches. If I make work what I have and put a red dot on one for the Steel and use the other for 3 Gun which one would you put the optic on?

I would put the optic on both, just to do accuracy testing, and then keep it on the pistol that proves to be the most accurate.
