KobrenP220 in .45 — Rail or no rail and why?
OP describes P-220 as leo trade in, no mention of a rail so I'll assume no rail. If intended use is a range toy don't see any practical need for a newer rail model P-220 that might be more expensive.

PappabearI would think there is no real downside to a rail, and if I were trying to resale it, I would prefer a rail if I were buying.

kgray01I prefer the non-rail version. Just like the way it looks.

FourTeeFiveI have an ex-LEO with rail, SRT, etc. Very nice gun, good shooter. But I do miss my old West Germany original P220 without rail that I sold. A much better looking gun in my opinion.
