Hey Folks! I recently traded in my sig p210 standard for the sig P210 Carry and a funny thing happened today...I went to field strip it and give it a cleaning and the slide will not go forward once I remove the slide stop. Very strange...I can't figure out what the issue is? The mechanisms seem identical to my p210 standard which I have cleaned many times without issue. Anyone else have this problem? Any advice? Thanks! work hard + be nice to people

Hey mine is the same, Just push harder on the back of the slide, it will come off. Keep control of the slide though so it doesn't get to much forward energy and land on the floor. edit, I think with a bit of use it will start to come off easier, just need to shoot them a lot!

Thank you! my p210 standard came off with ease, so I was afraid to push too hard and possibly damage it...thanks again. work hard + be nice to people

I found a need to: 1. With the hammer cocked, pull the slide back about 4mm and then pushout the cross pin from the right side. May need to fiddle a bit. 2. Let the hammer down slowly and pull trigger. 3. Slide will come off the front smoothly. This is with a P210CA. . . . Mac in Michigan
