* Carried the P229 the longest...almost 16 years. Was a great pistol. A bit heavy, but great shooter and I had a 357 Sig barrel I could drop in. Tough to beat.

** Perfect 90s/2000s pistol. I would carry it today if I had a supply of parts for the stamped slide version.

Would love to find an New (Old Stock) West German Herndon, VA P228...


IIRC, when you carried that 229 you said you loved it. Then they made you carry a G23 and you said you were very impressed and liked it better than the 229. Now they gave you a 19M. Is it that much better than the G23 or would you have been ok if you could have kept that one?
