Looking at SC round counts...

Question:
How many rounds do you have through your Glock 43...post any issues or problems you have had that may be tied to hard use...

Choices:
Under 500
500-1000
1000-2000
2000-4000
over 4000
Over 10,000

I've owned 7 different Glock 43s. All of them have worked with 100% reliability. The most that I fired in any single one was around 800-900 rounds.

I loved carrying the gun, loved how it fit my hand, but I hated shooting it. I shot it good... but didn't enjoy shooting it, after 50 rounds +/- I was ready to put it away.

Again 100% reliable.

My G43 has been very reliable. No issues. It's got a precision overwatch falx trigger now, orange front trijicon hd sights, a glock gadget slide end plate, vickers mag release and slide stop release, and a factory "minus" connector. Runs like a top. It gets carried a lot, and I trust it.

Absolutely reliable with any and all ammunition tried. A little over 1000 rounds. Vickers slide stop, TG gadget, Talon Grips, TT mag extensions. Never an issue - carried all day, every day.

I have a TAOS with a ss guide rod. 100% reliable approx. 750 rds and a easy shooter. Very little flip or felt recoil. I think the extra wt of the stainless guide rod makes all the difference. Very happy with this gun. SOLD my P365 too many problems.

1200+

Only issue was with ETS 7-9-12rd magazines. It hated them.

With OEM mags it runs great, with or without Pearce +1 and Vickers +2s.

1000~ rounds. No problems that weren't operator induced.

450 for me. I just don’t find it that pleasant to shoot, but it gets the job done

I hadn't shot mine in a while; previously left off around 1400 rounds. With all of the 365 buzz surrounding reliability issues, I decided it was time to start pushing the Glock again. Put another 225 through it yesterday, and two weeks ago did 170, which included some old WWB I still had from 8 years back. The G43 handled it well, though a couple of rounds did sound and feel weaker than they should. No squibs, so all was good. With those two range visits, right now the should be around 1800 rounds. Objectively, the gun is a bit snappy when compared to others that it competes directly with, but I've been used to shooting 40S&W for so long that it's not that big a deal to me, though the tendonitis in my shooting elbow might disagree.

Operationally there have been no problems to date, although with such a small form factor gun I'm starting to think about when I should get serious about replacing its springs. I've always used the 5k to 10k rule for double stack Glocks, but I'm not as certain when it comes to smaller 9mm pistols like the G43.

I've got several thousand through mine. I usually shoot several hundred rounds with it each time I take it to the range, and have never found it unpleasant to shoot. If I just shoot a little, I notice my string moving down and left. Once I shoot a bit more, I stop doing that, which is why I try to shoot enough through it that I can focus on the pistol instead of whatever ghost-tick causes me to go left.

I've run some of the ETS 7 rd mags in rotation in the pistol; they function exactly the same for me as the factory mags, and they'll take the same baseplates that the factory will, so they've got Pearce +1's on them, too.

I was looking at getting a G43 for my wife, but she shot it last time at the range, and didn't like it. She doesn't shoot much; I suspect that had she spent a bit more time with it, it would have grown on her. She preferred a G19, instead.

500-1000 rounds. Standard Glock night sights and plus 2 Taran Tac mag extensions. Off duty carry everywhere I go. I shoot it better than any other Glock and I have had dozens. Zero issues. I love it.

I'm on my second.

I put around 1200 rounds through my first one. It was one of the first to come out. It was fairly reliable with standard pressure ammo, but choked with Federal HST 124 gr +P which I'm mandated to carry. I also found it miserable to shoot so it got sold.

My second one has right around 1000 through it right now. It has been 100% reliable with standard pressure ammo. It is mostly reliable, but still miserable to shoot with +P ammo using factory mags with no extensions. Any type of mag extension on this particular gun leads to spotty reliability.

While the size of the gun is nice to carry, I just don't trust it. I prefer the Shield for a small 9mm.

The G43 has been totally reliable for me. Ammo I’ve run through it to date totals 680 rounds, with about half of it reloads. With a gun this small, I’ve used standard pressure JHP ammunition with good results for accuracy.

Less than 500 absolutely reliable rounds, 100 of which were old Federal Hydra-shoks. I don’t find it at all unpleasant to shoot. I have largish hands and it feels like a cap gun in terms of size, but it points marvelously and close range instinctive shooting is excellent.
