I was one who had issues with Shield mags in my 43x/48. Gen 1 and gen 2. Yes changed to the steel catch. Changed my 43x back to original mag and catch.

Range guy turned me on to the PSA Dagger micro mags. 29.95. Gave it a try.
Steel body with polymer clad front. Use the original mag catch.

Put about 100 rds through it today. Perfect. Tough to load those last few.

I'm sold.

I have eight of them and maybe half a case of ammo or a little more through them with no problems. I was happy with my Shield Arms mags, but I put a compensator on my gun and the mags stopped running.

The PSA mags have been trouble free.
