I'm toying with the idea of an Aero Precision EDC9 PCC build but then I saw a $40 price tag on Glock extended magazines. I started Binging (as opposed to Googling) and saw ProMag magazines for like $17 each.

Please tell me there is a reasonable alternative to the Glock mags. Big Grin

MagPul makes 21 and (IIRC) 27 round Glock magazines. Those will be fine, but ProMag or the KCI magazines, you should avoid.

Looks like there was a price increase on G18 mags, putting them above Metalform Colt mags.

Greg Cote has all colors of Glock 33 rounders for $34.

Amend2 makes a decent 34rd magazine that can be had for probably $15-20.

The Magpul 21s and 27s seem decent enough, the 21s are my daily carry in fact.

Friends don't let friends buy promag. Yeah, they're cheaper up front, but not in the long run because you'll end up throwing them away and then buying something more expensive to replace them.

The magpuls should should be fine in your application.

I purchased a number of SGM Tactical 10mm 30 round Glock mags for my 10mm AR as they were/are pretty much the only higher capacity mag.
I was under the impression they were US made when I purchased. Turns out they are made in South Korea.
That being said I have not had any issues thus far.

I have several Magpul 17, 21 and 27 round mags. I use the higher cap ones mainly for my Freedom Ordanance FX-9. I’ve never had a problem with any of them.
