shkuhnEnded the year with a bang. Picked up a few guns.
The LGS took in a very large collection and needless to say a couple had to come home with me. I can’t wait to get these out and put some rounds through them.
First up is a Redhawk in 44 mag. I have a couple 629’s, but always wanted a Ruger as well. I’m hoping to make this one a hunting companion for deer season next year.
I always wanted a Model 66 and this one definitely fit the bill. This one is a Lew Horton 66-4. I haven’t gotten a chance to shoot this one yet. Unfortunately it didn’t come with the box, but for the price I was ok with that. I will eventually sent the front sight into Trijicon to get relamped.
This single ten may become on of my favorite 22 revolvers. I put a couple hundred rounds through this the other day and it’s a joy to shoot. It won’t replace my well used mark ii as permanent range bag companion, but it’s close.
Last, but not least is a Sig that I’ve lusted over for a long time. This p220 Sport looks unfired, but that will definitely change soon. This thing is a beast and feels like it will be a very soft shooter. He also has a P229 Sport that is just as clean, but I don’t know if I could justify shooting 357 sig with how the prices are.
Let’s see some other end of the year purchases.

abnmacvYou must have been "nice" to have Santa give you the opportunity to pick up those classics.

wacopolumboAwesome way to finish the year! I’d like to have any of those in my collection. The Horton Model 66 is my favorite though. Enjoy them!

ArtieSYou had a good day. Beautiful Ruger 10. You will love the big Ruger in .44. Get a set of William's Firesights for it and have fun! Even with the hardwood grips it's easy shooting until you get 240 grains up over 1250 fps. Then it's still very controllable, but you know you have a tiger by the ass.
