I am a long time member but have been off the forum for awhile. Who would you recommend to do a trigger job on a full size HK 45 to take up creep, lighten and result in a crisp pull? I cannot think of a better group to ask. Thank you in advance.

Gray Guns is the first one that popped into my mind. Next would be sending it to the factory for a match trigger install. Or doing that yourself it's not too hard.

I did the GG flat trigger and short reset on my P30L myself and it was good.

Look at the LEM conversion before you do anything. It might be something you are interested in or maybe not. I converted my HK45 to lite LEM and couldn’t be happier.

I had GrayGuns do one of their packages on my USP45c and convert it to LEM at the same time. It was nice before the work, but now it's really nice!

I’ll second looking at a LEM conversion. I had a USP45 LEM that I loved but sold to fund an HK45 that came in DA/SA. I planned on converting the HK45 to LEM but sold it to fund another project. My only HK now is a P30SK LEM that I shoot well and frequently carry. Some folks hate the LEM. You should find one to try to see if it fits you.

I would first consider a couple of easy spring changes that may do most of what you are asking for. Available from HK Parts. Don't know how many rounds you have through the pistol but if not many you will see it improve anyway as more rounds are put through it.

My ca. 2008 HK45 has a pretty crisp SA trigger. DA is fuck all but SA is good. Doesn't need any work IMO.

What do you have now, DA/SA? If so, you can take it to ‘lite LEM’ without to much trouble, yourself. There are tutorial videos in the net, ‘conversion kits’ available.

I have a P2000 and P2000Sk that were both worked on by Gray Guns and they are both really good compared to other HK guns. I also have a USP9SD with the HK match trigger and springs installed, which is also very good. They all fall far short of many other tuned guns like a classic Sigs, 1911, or Beretta. Just make sure you have your expectations in line with the limitations of the HK platform.
