OK...I saw a topic earlier that made me wonder...while it's a striker fire world now...I thought I'd throw this out there

Question:
What Type of firearm do you primarily carry?

Choices:
Striker Fired
Traditional Double Action Semi Auto
DAO Semi Auto
Sing Action Semi Auto
Double Action Revolver
Single Action Revolver (NAA, SAA, etc...)

I went from revolver to striker fired.
In todays world, I feel under gunned with 5 rounds now.
The criminal dynamic has changed.

Both the Kimber and the Remington have since been fitted with mag funnel mainspring housings and Hogue G10 grip panels.

I cut my proverbial teeth on DA/SA SIGs, then transitioned to strikers and then when I had kids transitioned back to DA/SA.

I am most comfortable with DA/SA but lately have been devoting more time to my Glocks and trying to come back up to speed with them as much because I am trying to keep my skills up with them as that they are just so damn easy to replace sights on or get holsters for or run a dot on if I want.

End of the day I always seem to find my way back to DA/SA, hammer fired, iron sighted pistols…..because I am apparently a troglodyte and get off my lawn Razz.

Began with S&W revolver, then Sig SA/DA, next Glocks which I still carry in certain situations but as my hands got old a 1911 functions best. Also living in a gun hostile environment the slim profile is a plus.

I spend right at 15 years trying different carry guns.... finally settled on what I consider old school. Sig came out with it for concealed carry before plastic or striker fired was the thing. She aint as pretty an many others and has been rode hard but she still shoots... and shoots very well.

Sort of all the above...Striker (P320) at work and sometimes on my own time. DA/SA (Beretta 92X Compact or P245) on my own time when the situation permits, and a DA revolver (S&W 640 or 360) as a backup at work and sometimes as my only gun around the house/neighborhood.

Mostly P365 in various configurations.

Occasionally Kahr PM9

Even less my P229 or P239.

I have not carried my P320 except to the range.

Striker. Glock 23, or Shield+ when attire limits concealability.

Ruger LCP Max 380, 10+1 or 12+1 round magazines of 380 in the back pocket, light, easy to conceal, none of the holster issues or pulling down shorts or pants. Down here it's hot and we wear light weight clothing all year.
