I have two 365's.

May 2018: Zero issues of any kind, well over 1000 rounds

May 2019 (Manual safety): Zero issues of any kind, 750 rounds.

I was only able to vote once, so my second 365 is not accounted for!

Me too. I have two 365's.

21 May 2018: Zero issues of any kind, 1100 rounds.

26 May 2019 (Manual Safety): Zero issues of any kind, only 250 rounds.

And, Like boilergonzo, I was only able to vote once, so my second 376 is not accounted for!

If you're goin' through hell, keep on going.
Don't slow down. If you're scared don't show it.
You might get out before the devil even knows you're there.

My P365 has a March 2018 born date. Had to send it back to Sig twice. The trigger spring failed (broke) in the first 93 rds. Got it back then the striker broke after 535 rds. I have 800 rds thru it now and everything appears fine, hopefully it stays that way.

On a side note, Sig customer service was excellent in both cases. Had my P365 back to me within a week with an explanation on what was repaired.

On Sunday I traded in my last Glock (a G26) and got my second P365.
I don't keep a round count I would estimate around 1000 on the first and around 200 on the second.
The first had to go back for dim night sights (and so did my 2 P320) not a single hiccup from any of my Sigs.
I was using my second P365 today against plates at 25 yds and pieces of broken clay birds at 75 yds.
I use them as both CCW and fun guns.
First time I tried a P365 a year ago, I fell in love. I shoot it better than the G26 which doesn't make any sense given the size and weight advantage of the G26.
No comparison with the G43 that was my CCW until about a year ago.

1 365 born-on-date Dec 2018
Started experiencing failures to extract at about the 400 round mark.
Sent it back to SIG and they replaced the slide and extractor.
Kudos to SIG as I had the gun back in a week.
Test fired 50 rounds and no issues.

I no longer have the 365 because I traded it for a P320 subcompact for mag compatibility with my duty gun, but the one I had had a couple of failures to return to battery very early on, but once it broke in it was 100%. The guy who has it now hasn't reported any problems, either. It's a good little gun...very accurate, too.

I voted no problems at all. I did have one FTE that was my fault. Can't blame the gun for that.

Accuracy of the 365 has exceeded my expectations.

First rounds through my new 365 today. 250 trouble free rounds. 4 different brands and types. So far so good.

In the corporate world, I used to refer to those kind of estimates as a "SWAG BOND."

Swinging wild-ass guess based on no data.

Your poll here will not provide you with good data either.

That is correct, when I made that statement I also said as much. It was simply based on the number of members here that I knew had issues. Still, Im only off by 5% so far. At any rate, 20% is pretty dismal for Tier 1 gun company. Those are Remington type numbers.

Mine is a March 2019 date. At about 300 rds my 365 started having RTB issues.

I sent the pistol to Sig and they replaced the fire control unit. So far so good at 200 rds running well.

I currently have 4 P365s--two blue ones, a FDE one, that is riding in a Vedder IWB holster on my hip right now, and a 365XL.

The first one I bought had 3 or 4 instances where it didn't fully return to battery in the first 50 or so rounds. I did not clean or lubricate the pistol prior to firing it, and I was using WWB 115gr ammo. I switched to some 124gr stuff and the problem went away. That gun has close to 1000 rds through it with no further problems.

The round count is lower on the other pistols, but I have had no malfunctions with any of them. I really like the P365.

Apx 1500 rounds

It runs great

I shot a match with it this weekend and had multiple shooters wanting to try it and then we're talking about heading to the gun shop

You're saying that the P365 has a 20% failure rate?

Based on what?

No, originally I said 25% based on my estimation of threads I've seen here and elsewhere coupled with the reality that people are more likely to report problems. Then again, unlike the members here, most people probably dont shoot their 365 enough to see any issues or arent aware that failures of any kind are unacceptable. Not everyone who owns a gun is a gun person.

The 20% I'm basing on the poll numbers posted here. Which I think are more realistic as we have higher round counts and most the people here are "gun" people. Do believe the members here are lying about there experience? Do you think Sigforum is just unlucky in the fact that 20% of people on this forum alone have reported an issue with their 365?

My Son has one, Oct. 18 born on date.

300 rounds of WWB and Remington green box. Using 10 and 12 round factory mags.

No issues at all.

I was a skeptic to say the least. Then I shot his. I am now a Believer. It is an amazing little package that shoots very, very well.

I have two. One is approaching 1500 the other just over 500 or so. 10's 12's and 15's. On both (and every one I have ever shot) I get an OCCASIONAL failure to lock open. Always on longer strings when running them hard. I cannot prove it, but there is no doubt in my mind it is my frigging thumb getting up on the slide lock a little.

Other than that, the second one had 2 FTFs early in the first 4-5 mags. Nothing since, and the first one truly has been 100%. I never liked any of the little 9's I ever had, and hated the G43 I was issued. This one, I actually like.

I used to carry full duty sized, and if I needed something smaller I would always try to get by with a G19 if I could, and if not (super hot days, pool, boat, etc.) I would take a pocket 9 and be uncomfortable the entire time.

Now, I typically take the P365 anytime a full size is not a good option. I shoot it as well out to 25 as I do the 19.

I never thought I could ever be this comfortable with something this small.

Thanks,
BT
