I’ve been looking for a new summer carry heater, so I picked up a P365 yesterday. Of course, right after I bought it, I started reading about the problems they had with it intitially.

I gotta say though, for a pistol that fits comfortably in my front pocket, it is very comfortable to shoot for an extended period. Really accurate too, with a nice crisp trigger....which is surprising for a striker gun.

I put 200 rounds of reloads through it without a problem, plus a box of Speer 124gr +p.

Whatever SIG got wrong with this gun is definitely outshone by its excellent ergonomics and nice trigger. Hopefully it continues to be reliable. I can see putting many, many rounds through this gun!

Took a full day class with the 365 at SiG, not sure I would classify this as a noisy cricket, like in Men In Black. It was pleasant to shoot all day. My P290 was closer to a noisy cricket, and my scandium J Frame was full on Cricket with 357 mag loads.

A 9mm in MY Hand is better than a 45 at home.
