Just got done in the backyard range after putting some Warren Tactical night sights on the 48 today. Very nice sights and I got rid of the stock plastic ones. POA is POI with these.
Stopped at the LGS to get some self defense ammunition to run through the 48 when the owner approached me and asked if I'd be interested in a blem Dan Wesson. Piqued my interest so I looked at it.
New longslide Bruin in 45 acp. The blemish is the finish near the front of the barrel, just a little off. How much? $1400 plus tax. Haven't had a 1911 in a while so I jumped on it. Think I did good and I don't care about the finish.
Took both pistols out and they ran like champs. The Glock got 150 assorted self defense rounds through it and the DW got 100 put through it. No malfunctions of any kind.
I know, pics or it didn't happen but it's a PITA to post pictures. Sorry.
The Glock is ready for carry and the 1911 will just be a fun range pistol.

I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not.
