![]() Visiting family a while back, a couple of old revolvers came into the discussion. I've looked one of them over thoroughly, and can't find enough markings to identify it. The barrel is stamped "AUTO EJECTING 38 S&W" followed by what looks like GTGF. All else I can find is a 93 stamped on the "operator end" of the cylinder. I can put up a full pic shortly... meanwhile, can we tell who made it? - - - - - - Updated title, Feb 10.This message has been edited. Last edited by: vthoky, God bless America.

Got ‘em! Thank you. Yours looks in WAY better condition. I need to get hold of this one again soon and look at the top of the barrel. I don’t think I looked there for markings earlier. God bless America.

Model 2 Topbreak Auto Ejection Revolver. Not worth big dollars-generally around $200.00+/_ I cleaned mine up obviously. I've had this gun appx 60 yrs. Never attempted to shoot it. Bob

I confiscated a few in my cop days. Commonly known as a "squeezer" for its break open action. Some cases required me to test fire them. The H&Rs always worked! End of Earth: 2 Miles Upper Peninsula: 4 Miles

I inherited the same gun from my grandfather. He had it with him on his farm in Kansas back in the 40’s forward. He used it for varmints etc. It was in his nightstand when he passed away. By the time I received it, the gun was nonfunctional. The cylinder wouldn’t rotate. The hammer would barely move. The barrel was really dirty. By dirty, I mean actual dirt, like from the fields. I completely disassembled it and cleaned all of the parts. The barrel cleaned up pretty well. All reassembled, the action and cylinder worked smoothly. It fires 38 S&W. He had five ancient rounds in it but that’s all. .38 S&W is not very common anymore so I haven’t fired it. You’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier
