Any clean (and reliable) 22lr recommendations?
I recently picked up a Beretta Bobcat. I held out for years, but the current rebate was enough encouragement.

What a neat little pistol! But the blowback design throws no small amount of debris back at me. Unsuppressed is pretty bad, but suppressed can be really nasty, if not unbearable.

I've currently got American Eagle, Mini Mags, Stingers, CCI Suppressor, and Aguila. I also have some Center X, but prefer not to use that with a pistol. Other than those, any recommendations of stuff that might run cleaner?

22's are just dirty. I don't know that any one is cleaner than the others. Plated bullets may help. And my Bobcats have the same issues. When I mount the Sparrow, I put on gloves as well.

I'm not sure such a thing exists. If you find it, let me know. My recent acquisition of a rimfire supressor has exposed me to a whole new world of gun filth! At least my MkIV has a closed top strap so it spits most of the crud out the side.

Pretty much all 22lr ammo is dirty. Match ammo will be the cleanest, and cheap ammo will be the dirtiest.

There are many levels and prices of match ammo. Most 22lr firearms take a little experimentation with brands to the best options.

Someone offline recommended SK Pistol Match. Anyone have experience with this brand?

Sk is good stuff. I'm lucky that SK Pistol Match is very accurate out of all my 22lr pistols.

IMO, all 22LR ammo is dirty with Aguila being the worse.

I really like Aguila Pistol Match. At 1080 FPS, it’s at the low end of standard velocity – very easy on the gun, and the breech stays cleaner. The bullets are well clinched in the cases too. It’s 100% reliable in my Beretta 87 Target

Aguila is owned by Eley, and uses Eley primer technology.

Serious about crackers.

all of it is dirty. but you should give Federal American Eagle Suppressor ready a try. It seems on the clean side in my guns.

I think the Federal Automatch is pretty clean also.

I have been mainly running CCI SV. Several of my target 22’s do not recommended high velocity.
All the debris stays in suppressor in the guns shot suppressed.
I had one quit suppressing after about a 100 rounds. Packed full of stuff.
Only shoot the HV in rifles now.
Had four bricks of Norma Standard Velocity. Made by SK. Easily dirtiest 22 ammo ever shot. Had to brush the chamber every couple mags. If not cases were sticking in the target 22 pistols.
