However this is short and quick as we are getting ready for a SigShoot N BBQ coming up soon and resighting the thermals for close in rat shooting Saturday night.

Anyways, six rounds down and dirty.

Did you shoot .38s? The recoil appears to be almost non existent.

Yes, it was .38 loads in 357 cases.
125grjhp with 3.4gr Clays.

I ain't risking a sploded gun for the shoot.

Wish they did them in the old Royal Blue. Don't think the SS would take the finish that well though.

And this is exactly why I have not bought a 6" yet. I am hoping they do a blued version. Even if it is not that super royal blue of old a nice blued 6" is much more appealing to me than the stainless models even though they are good looking.

Mars, do you have a 686? If so, how would you compare that to the new Python?

I used to have a 686, the Python is actually better manufactured as the hammer and trigger aren't MIM. The frame seems to be beefier, but the bolt stop on the cylinder is the same as the old Python. My Trooper MKV is much stronger all around. The Trooper has a HUGE bolt stop and recessed cylinder.

I know he had a king cobra but when I watched the video I could hear the beginning to Simon and Simon in my head. Love the Python.

I understand everything you said. But why worry?
