I bought 2 mags on gunbroker that appeared to be factory 15 rd 9mm mags. They were marked USED but have very little wear. They look a lot like the mags that came with my pistol but they don’t fit the pistol. The baseplate of the mag is too thick on the sides. Upon a closer look the used mags’ baseplates have a different sig logo, a round pin hole instead of square, and the “made in USA” stamp on my existing mags has a C with a square around it stamped after USA. Did I buy mags for the wrong gun, counterfeit mags, or older model mags? My pistol is a P320 RXP XCompact with SN that begins with 58J. In the photos, the loaded mag and the mag with the circular SIG logo are the good mag. https://drive.google.com/file/...vftaZ7UzBkOPc61_uX7G https://drive.google.com/file/...5tgrAqFmJJ_7WcX6aIQb https://drive.google.com/file/...At_3RcvaQ_IPyMD5mYod

probably a good thing I don't have a cut |
Sounds like you bought original P320 mags that came out before the X series pistols. You can either buy new style baseplates for the magazines or you can get a file and thin out the ears that stick up out of the base plate to make them fit your pistol. Yes, there are (at least) two different styles of P320 magazine floor plates and "inserts." (I cannot, BTW, access your photos to see them.) ► 6.4/93.6 ___________ “We are Americans …. Hmm. First time I’ve shared Google drive link from phone to a forum so idk what went wrong. Thanks for the reply. I was hoping they were just old models and not counterfeit.

Thanks. I’ll probably hit them with a file. They’re spares for keeping in the truck so they don’t have to look perfect.

Clip the dog ears off with an end cutter. It takes seconds. You can file, takes time. They don't work any better if you file them. You can also pick up the ACT mags for half the price new, that work as well as the factory mags. Visit greg cote's site. He's a member here. Ships fast. Packaged well enough to survive re-entry.

Here's a link to the ACT Mags that sns3guppy is referring to from Greg Cote --> https://gregcotellc.com/cart/s...-rd-3209-p-2047.html Though they're excellent Mags, they're 17rd. Mags and only fit flush in the 'Carry' and 'Full' size P320. They would work fine for reloads and range use if you choose to go that route. That said, I want my Mags to be flush fitting in the Grip Module, regardless of how/when/where I would use them. Osage County Guns is currently my go to for SIG factory/OEM Mags. Generally they've had the best pricing/availability of most online retailers and SIG accessory orders over $200 ship free, so there that. Though they don't currently have them in stock, you can sign up for a back in stock notification. You can buy new OEM SIG 15 round P320 magazines on Gunbroker for $29.95 buy now with $9 shipping and no credit card fees. That's the best price I've found anywhere as long as you don't mind Coyote colored floor plates. Just do a search at Gunbroker for "p320 15 magazine Italy" to find it. Search for "p320 17 usgi magazine coyote" for $29.95 17 round mags while they last.

CDNN has base plates, 3.99 for 3. They work fine, even of the hole in the bottom is the wrong shape. I just ordered 6 more of them. They'll even work on old 250 mags.
