I have posted this to the Walther forum and received no reply yet so I'm asking here too. I'm trying to find a replacement for the plain black front sight that is orange to be more visible. I'm sticking with the iron sights for now and not planning to install a red dot. Does the Ameriglo Glock front sights fit the Q4SF OR? This front sight has the following specs: GL-212-350-OR | Green Tritium Orange Outline FRONT .350 H .125" W Please reply with any information/experience you may have. Thanks

The only Walther PPQ SF I own is a Q5 and I use an optical sight on that, but my iron sight equipped PPQ polymer framed pistols all have Trijicon HD sights and I find the orange front sights for these particularly easy to see. I'd suggest you check them out. "I'm not fluent in the language of violence, but I know enough to get around in places where it's spoken."

As luck(?) would have it, my Q5SF jettisoned its front sight at the range today. When I got home, I tried a Glock front and found that while the style is similar, the cutout for the sight on the Walther is much longer. The width appears to be correct. I assume that mounting a Glock sight would result in the sight moving under recoil and eventually loosening and falling off. It's disappointing that Walther did not just use the Glock front pattern on these guns. There are so many sights available. I know this was fixed on the PDP. Dawson Precision does fiber optic fronts for the Q4/Q5.

I would like to purchase the Dawson fiber optic front sight for the Q4. I'm not able to find the exact height of the factory Q4 OR sight. Does anyone know the height needed so I can order it? I found a review that stated the front sight was .345 tall, but can't verify that. I measured the one on my gun, but don't have a micrometer so it's not exact. The closest stock height from Dawson is .330 or .365 x .125 wide.
