Been a LOOONG time since I was in the market for a good EDC belt. Want leather, 1.5", black. Needs to be more on the 'nice' side (will wear to work/church with coat/tie), but definitely don't want anything too gaudy. Any recommendations?

I’ve used Gould and Goodrich with good results but I have as of late been using KORE Essentials and have been super happy with them.

I've been very happy with my Beltman Bullhide in black, with stiffener. Great service and a quality product. He has a lot of classier leather options, too, if that's your thing.

^^^^ And another.

I've worn a Beltman every day for 20 years. I recently got my second one as the first one finally died. 19 years give or take for a belt that I use every day. I'd say that's pretty good quality. Number two might just outlive me.

My son has been wearing the Dying Embers, Shrunken American Bison Beltman belt I bought him for 2 years. It still looks new. David helped my pick the right length and it was spot on.

I’ve been using belts from AG Custom Gunleather for just over 10 years now. Some I’ve bought secondhand in as-new condition, while others I’ve ordered direct via their Quick Ship option.

Armour for me. Very quick turnaround time the last time I ordered a belt 2 years ago. And very quick to respond to email inquiries.

Another Beltman vote. I really like my Milt Sparks, but it might take months to get one.

I have a few SIGs.

Timely post, as my current [cheap] belt is starting to show its age.
Will be following & checking out some of the suggestions here.

Been really happy with Beltman, both under the prior ownership and the newer. Have heard many members rave about Armour over the years and if Beltman ever shut their doors I’d give them a try. That is if I ever needed another belt.

AG Custom Gunleather hands down. Beltman is a solid second choice.

My Beltman from almost 10 years ago looks like new and I wear it several times per week.

Mene Gene Leather made me a few belts years ago and they are daily wear, still going strong. Got a few slings as well, plus the Hot Tamale that makes a great way to carry your spare change on the airlines, or other places you can't have anything better.

Another satisfied Beltman customer. I have both their bullhide and horse hide belts. Absolutely excellent belts.
