Be aware of the 40 cal guns as they wear out quicker than normal. So you might want to check the springs/blocks, frames for wear/cracks, ect. sig nut', haulin' 3 sig 228's

You think a Sig factory Red Box could come with a cracked or otherwise worn slide and/or springs/block?

I was going to order one of the red box P226's in 357 a month or more ago and could not for the life of me figure out how to get my local FFL on their approved list... My Native American Name: "Runs with Scissors"

229s deliberately beefed up to handle the 40 and 357 sig. Cop guns carried much and shot seldom. What other information do you have? The only problem I ever had with a 40 229 is when one of my friends fired a 9mm in it. Ultimately ruined the slide as well as blowing off the extracter or is it ejector and ruining a mag.

Too many 220's? I don't think that's possible. +++
