| I have to say neither. Much prefer my Walther PPS M2 to either one of those.

| of the two 43 for me, that said I'd take a PPS over both; and further I'd wait a bit and get a 365 over all of them. |

| I've had both and kept the G43. Not really a criticism of the Shield, I just have lots of Glocks and wanted to stay on the same platform. Then when the Shield 45 came out I had to have one. Nice gun, but it's not replacing my G36. However, the Shield 45 has the manual safety and I'm pretty comfortable with it in a belly-band holster when I'm out trail running ...

| Between the shield and the G43, I vote for the G43. Better accuracy and trigger. I've shot both and own neither. Like the others here I would take the PPS M2 over both. Better......everything. And many of our customers at the shop decide the same. Regards 18DAI

| If your looking at the G43 vs Shield (purposely excluding the P365), and people are throwing the PPS M2 into the mix, why not toss the Ruger LC9s in there also. Very similar and generally well regarded. |
