And while it is a complete new pistol in mechanics the look is interesting . Never did i expect a two tone NAA returned. https://imgur.com/a/XJwN3LG

Interesting.

Haven't seen one like that before, but I like it.

Don’t like it. Why is half of it bead blasted like that?

I like it. I once had a smith model 60 refinished by the Smith PC so the frame was bead blasted and the cylinder was polished (not a high polish).
I think it looks good on the NAA

Is that bead blasted? It almost looks like a rough cast that was only partially finished.

I can’t imagine that this was intentional. If you like it and it works, then keep it. Personally I’d want an answer as to how this happened and I’d want it done right.

They bead blasted the frame and barrel and polished the flats; an expedient refinishing job.

Does it work?

Does it work? Have not shot it myself yet the action and rotation of the cyl are very crisp and tight. Feels better than any I have handled which is maybe three of them. It came with an initialed shot fired note. Done with my cci type ammo I carry. It’s a pocket gun not a show piece for the last 20 years. I’m ok with the look myself and plan on keeping it as is if it shoots when I get a chance. I mainly was wondering if this was a common practice or just a slow day at work.

Maybe it’s a new look. I just found this pic in a google search for 22mag pics.

I sent my 22lr mini in for repair and it came back polished up like new. Interesting what they did to the poster's gun. NAA is actually great they replaced my 32acp Guardian when it had an issue no questions asked and zero expense to me.

I actually like the look of it. I’ve had a NAA .22 in my pocket for about 15 yrs now, I broke down and bought a pug yesterday, after I run some rounds thru it, it may replace my .22

I sent. .22 short in to be fitted with the new cylinder with the notches between the charge holes. And, the “refinished” it for me.

By absolutely leaning into a buffing wheel until almost all he lettering was washed out.

I have yet to shoot it, but the “bead blasting” or whatever was done on the handle has given the pistol a significant better grip! Which is a good thing !!
