I've read numerous articles about the New Sig P210 but haven't seen or handled one. Had a few extra dollars due to selling an H&K P7M8 and ordered a P210 from Bud's Gun Shop. I received it a week ago but have ran into a problem. The target grips are so large I have trouble reaching the trigger when using a proper grip. Does anyone know of an after market smaller grip?

Grip info in the attached thread. It seems like we’re minutes away from some aftermarket support.

I like the target grip and had hoped for a version with service grips but at this point and with Sig’s history of overpromising and under delivering, I’m starting to think this is the only version we’ll see.

I’m on the mailing/notification list with Grips4you for a set as soon as they are available. I’ll post in the pistol forum as soon as I hear anything.

Hope a solution appears for you, but that sounds like good news for me, as I have large hands and was wondering about the grips.

The P210 Target comes with Nills, right?

You can find a sizing chart for Nills, I typically order mine through Mactech.

The P210A's grips are not by Nill. Nill doesn't make them.

Looking at Sigs website, they look Nilly. Too bad it's a knockoff.

Do grips made to fit the original P210s fit the P210A? Mag release needs to be considered of course.

If I owned a P210A and couldn't have Nills, I'd be a sad panda.

Nill is just a good go to for sized grips.

Yeah, it's a knockoff. You didn't know it, but Nill put out a statement last year on their website blasting the copycats. Can't find it anymore. They might have taken it down. Nothing aftermarket currently will fit the P210A. grips4u and Armory Craft are the two outfits working on the non-target grips for it.

Somebody recently mentioned, in another thread (forget which one), about how Cohen saved Sig from bankruptcy. Perhaps he couldn't get the deal he wanted from Nill to have them keep making grips for Sig, so he found somebody who could supply a credible replacement?

Sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

I'm of mixed feelings about knock-offs. On the one hand it strikes me as wrong--and wrong to give people who make or employ knock-offs my business. OTOH: There's only so many ways to skin a cat.

Either way: If I can come up with the scratch, I don't think the grips being Nill-ish, but not Nills, is going to stop me.

I wonder how many people would buy 'em if Nill made essentially identical grips for the P210 Target--just to have the Real Deal?

Thanks!

I knew I'd read it recently, but damned if I could find it again.

A lot of folks in Europe copy nil’s grips and they copy other makers. Morini, walther etc use very similar designs. Not sure a grip shape is even patentable unless you can prove it’s never been sold (public domain) and is somehow unique. In patent fights, you have to prove the copycat actually “copied” your patented design and wasn’t merely influenced by it.
Etc etc.. imagine what we could accomplish without lawyers Smile.
