Good evening, all.

I’m sitting here staring at an older (2021) P365, and considering a sight replacement. I believe it’s got its original X-ray 3 sights, and they seem a little dim.

It’s not something I’d replace right away, but I’m always into looking at parts options well before a job gets to do-it-now status.

On a quick surf, the names I see and recognize are:
- Trijicon HD
- Ameriglo Spartan
- XS

This is yet another job I’ve never taken on before —> another chance to learn.

For handgun sights, I like Trijicon HD XR, Wilson Combat/Vickers Battlesights, or Warren Tactical sights.

Each of these options combine a thinner front sight and a wider U notch rear.

Warren Tactical doesn't appear to offer P365 sights, but the first two do.

Trijicon HD XR sights have the added benefit of a very high visibility front sight ring, similar to the ring around the Xray3 front sight dot.

Thank you.

The HD XR caught my attention earlier. So I surfed some more…

Trijicon’s web site says stock number SG603-C-600860 is right for P365, so I took that to Midway’s site. Copy-and-paste, and Midway tells me that’s for .40 and .45, and another click brings me to SG601-C-600865. Put that number into Trijicon’s web site, and that brings up a note that says, “Excluding P938 and P365).”

To be sure, I’d order by the number Trijicon suggests, but it’s mildly frustrating (and somewhat unusual, I think) that Midway’s site doesn’t match. Big picture: no big deal, I know what to do if those are the sights I end up choosing.

Warren is typically my pick, but Trijicon is right behind them as my second choice, and then Ameriglo. I haven't looked at what Warren makes for the p365 though since I have a taller set from night fision.

I have 4 365s and replaced the, IMO, awful Sig sights with Night Fision on 3 of them. A couple are the suppressor height and a one slightly higher than the factory sights. My fourth P365 is the SAS model so no sight upgrade was needed.

I have Night Fision sights on several of my other firearms, Glock 43Xs and a Gen 5 Model 19.

I got into Night Fision sights maybe ten-twelve years ago when I needed a set of sights for a gun and couldn't find any night sights. I called Trijicon and they, IMO, were less than helpful or interested.

Then I called Night Fision and they were so darned nice to me on the phone, made the sights for me, at a very fair price, quickly shipped 'em, that I have rarely deviated from their products since then.

I would also add that putting Wilson Grip Modules on all 4 of them really made the P365s more shootable for me, even the SAS.

I didn't know about Night Fision.

SIG-176-007-GD-PYGZG looks like a good combination, I think.

I looked up an old post of mine since I could not recall what gun I needed the sights for-it was a P365 and it was some 5 years ago, 2021, not 10-12 years ago that I called Night Fision.

I like the XS and Night Fision sights due to the ring around the tritium offering a better sight picture/enhancement.

I just noticed after taking my P365 out the other day, the front sight is dead, which is sad because this is the first time I shot it after getting the new X-change kit from Sig. Looks like I will get another front sight as well.
