I'm assuming it's no longer offered, since the SIG website doesn't mention it, but AIM Surplus has some police turn-ins. I'm wondering about dimensions, weight, and capacity, hoping someone here can direct me. Maybe a P365 would be better, since concealment is my major concern, but AIM has a nice price on their guns, $399. Anybody have a link to specs on the P320 sub compact? -------------------------- Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats. -- H L Mencken I always prefer reality when I can figure out what it is. -- JALLEN 10/18/18

Here are some specs and a video: https://handguncloud.com/gun/sig-p320-subcompact https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tpw4oRaIjJU There were a few changes to the frame and trigger during the years it was in production. If you scroll down to the Impact Guns product listing below the specs, it shows the older version. I guess you're looking at this one: https://www.aimsurplus.com/pro...ompact-handgun-black From the picture on AIM's site, it looks like they're selling the railed version, which has the medium frame, not the small frame that came on the unrailed version. The main difference is that the medium has a fatter, more hand-filling grip. It also appears to have the newer trigger, and the magazines have extensions on them. I have both a 320 SC (like the one pictured by AIM) and a P365. The P320 is somewhat larger and heavier but correspondingly easier to shoot well, at least for me. It's really not a pocket gun, but if you're carrying in a belt holster it's certainly manageable -- similar to a Glock 26. One more thing to consider: If you end up not liking the 320 SC frame, you can swap your slide and chassis into an X-Compact frame and end up with something like this: Then you'd be more in Glock 19 territory. You'd need different magazines, though. It takes the 15-round Compact magazines

I'm not sure if you're referring to two different versions of Sub Compacts, or is the one AIM is selling not a SC but a Compact? Slightly larger than a 365 would be fine, but if yours is a SC, can you tell me if the owner's manual gives dimensions? The P365 appears to be nearly the size of my Walther PPK. A bit bigger would still be concealable. I'm off for the rest of the night, so no rush to find your manual. Thanks for your rapid reply to my first post. -------------------------- Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats. -- H L Mencken I always prefer reality when I can figure out what it is. -- JALLEN 10/18/18

There were 2 different models labeled as "subcompact" that were sold. One had a pic rail (like that one seen in the aimsurplus link above) One did not have a rail. As shown here: https://www.handgunhero.com/co...g-sauer-p320-x-carry My link (above) shows the dimensions you're interested in I think. The aimsurplus link shows a picture with a slightly larger looking mag than what came stock. The handgunhero link shows the gun as it was sold by sig (with the flush mag which holds 12 rounds). What Toivo is referring to is that the grip module on these guns is swappable. You can remove the grip module and replace it with this: https://www.sigsauer.com/p320-...act-grip-module.html However, doing so renders your existing 12 round mags unusable as that new grip module requires the larger 15 round mags (it has a longer "grip" portion) which came stock with the "compact" p320. This is where my signature goes.
