I have a P226 Equinox. It’s a beautiful gun. I added a “regular” trigger, a SRT and it shoots like a charm. My issue is the beautiful wood grips make the gun feel “thick”. If I buy a set of Hogue G10 grips would the pistol feel “thinner” in my hand? Any thoughts to reduce the circumference of the grips would be appreciated.

that is my one gripe about P226's... the factory grips and I presume wood grips would be the same, are just too thick for my hands.

My first P226 came with the E2 grips and I love them. Then I bought a MK25 and knew something was not 'right' about the feel. I put G10 Hogue grips on the pistol and love it.

The Hogue extreme aluminum grips are thinnest, followed by the G10s.
