Does look like a Walther, but the plastic is a bit different from what I have seen.

I think you're right. That baseplate looks like it might be from a Manurhin PP. Can't say for sure since I've only ever seen pics of them, not in person.

Here's my Interarms imported PP Sport with its Walther
"alligator" box. It's also an Ulm proof ('69)
like the James Julia one pictured above(the Manurhin
proofed PP Sport pistols are more common).
