Thank you for the heads up, that is certainly something that I would like to add into my collection

I like LEO marked duty weapons

The NC markings and connection is just not worth that much of a premium to me

How much would one of these be worth in today’s market? I would like to add a NCHP marked pistol to my meager collection (if you could even call it that).

I have previously looked at the S&W M&P .357 Sig NC Highway Patrol turn ins, but someone always wanted the ones that I have found far more than than I did.

Appreciate any opinions provided.

My want has nothing to do with the NC Highway patrol stamp... I'd just like to have either the compact or carry model in 357 sig but they are out of stock with these and I sent them an email with a question two or three days ago and they have not replied.....

You may have noticed that Atlantic Firearms thought they had it priced too high as well. They have dropped their price by 10% since I first replied to this thread, but that is still more than one is worth to me

The LEO M&P 357 full size guns that I grabbed in 2015 were $300. It sounds like you waited for folks to flip them at auction on GB or something similar. Auctions always raise the price.

I got two of the full size M&Ps in unissued condition from Wilson County and one compact that had been carried. The Factory boxes put the date of manufacture at May 7th of 2012 so these two were probably from the last batch the Factory shipped to them

The compact was a bit more, $340, but it included the M&P laser back strap. This one was not Agency marked. It was acquired with the other two but had been built in 2007

I only own two additional Agency marked 357SIG pistols. Both are P239s. One is my Texas DPS pistol and the other is a US Secret Service pistol that I got from a buddy. The USSS P239 was a award or commemerative, I forget which
