Recently picked up the discontinued p227. A few quick upgrades and this thing is one of my favorite pistols. I'm finding conflicting info on holsters that work with this model. Can anyone give me brands/models that you know 100% work with the carry model of the 227?

Since Sig stopped making the P227 several years ago (they do that a lot with some of their best pistols), you may have to seek out a custom holster maker for this. Others on the Forum will be able to recommend some. Do you want kydex or leather? OWB or IWB? Many of the main line holster makers still carry models for the P227, but you may have to settle for the service size slide rather than the carry slide. Shouldn't be a problem, since it's only .5" difference. Also, if you find a model you like, but they don't list it for a P227, I believe the frame and slide for the P227 is identical to those on the P226. Check with someone who owns both. Good luck.

I have found holsters for the P229 fit my P227 SAS perfectly.

Thanks guys. I've seen info that certain models have share slide dimensional with other 220/229 and others. It's also when they had the curved/flat rail so even more obstacles lol. Preferably in AIWB kydex like a vedder or tier 1. Just seeing if there are any folks who may have both or have an interchangeable holster from a similar model.
