Came across a P245 at a local shop.

From the research I've done they will take the P220 mags? Will it fit in the 220 holsters?

Guy wants a decent price so I'm thinking about getting it IF I can get holsters and mags for it.

Thanks.

Thanks.

I really like mine.

P220 Compact magazines are 100% compatible.

Magazines for full-size P220 pistols will fit, and will function, but there will be a gap where the longer magazine sticks out from the shorter grip. An X-Grip adapter provides a fairing that fills this in. I think that Greg Cote sells them.

If you do get the pistol and wind up needing magazines for it, touch base with me via the email address in my profile. I have a few extras.

As far as holsters go, anything made for the P220 compact should be a good fit, the P245 and the P220 compact are very close. A holster for the full size P220 might work too, but the P245 has a shorter slide, so there will be some unused space in the holster.

The P245 takes the same Mags as the P220 Compact and to my knowledge, they are still available. You can also use P220 full size (8 round Stainless) Mags w/ an X-Grip adapter, which is my preference, as I like a little more 'purchase' on my P245. Cool

Re: Holsters - The P245, P220 Compact and P220 Carry should all use the same Holster. You should have NO problem finding Holsters for use w/ the P245.

All that said, if you've located a good one, I suggest you get return to your LGS post haste and grab it before someone else finds it! Wink

I love the P245. The two tone has a 8 round mag in it to show you what it looks like.

I really enjoyed mine while I had it. Regret letting it go.

BTW from another thread.

When looking for holster, make sure you look at ones for the 220 carry or compact without a rail.

ulsterman - Yes, the flush-fit Mags for the P245 & P220 Compact are 6 rounders

Here's my P245 sporting an 8 round P220-1 Mag w/ X-Grip adapter. Cool

Mine probably has the smoothest trigger of any of my SIGs. With XS Big Dot sights, it was my EDC for several years.
