For real?![]() |
ok. i'm at a lost. i have tried 3 different sight pushers and resorted to hammer and punch and I think I am just going to break it if I continue. Can someone recommend a sight pusher that actually works on these front sights? I even dug up this tiny red one and stuck it in a vise and it didn't budge. i'm trying to replace the tall xray sight for a regular height ameriglo front sight. i was able to change the rear with no issue. the p365xl came with suppressor height sights which I don't want. I sent an email in to Top Gun Supply to see if they have one since they're local to me. thanks ![]() Not minority enough!

Can’t recommend a sight pusher but the front sight on my 365x was pretty loose. First time I had it recentered, the guy used a punch and hammer. Not sure how they moved it the second time (different gunsmith). The third time they put some blue locktite under it and that has seemed to work though I’ve only put 50 rounds thru it since. If it moves again, it may have to go back to Sig to get fixed. Top Gun should help you. They were always great to work with when I was living out there. I have a bunch of different sight pushers for Classic SIG, HK, Glock, and Wheeler Universal Armorer’s tool. The Wheeler tool has never let me down on even the toughest sights but you have to take a little time to set it up properly. I have also moved some stubborn sights with a vise, hammer, and punch. You can’t be afraid to whack the punch with a good blow to get them moving. You could also try a little heat with a heat gun first in case there is loctite on it. _________________________ "An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile - hoping it will eat him last” - Winston Churchil

TIGHT !!! I moved the sights from my Fuse over to my Shalotec 365 & added a set of XS F8 sights to the Fuse. I almost couldn’t believe I was removing them correctly. Left to right. But eventually they complied with my wishes. The front sight was twice as difficult to remove than the rear. I used my VISM universal as my sig sauer pusher is only for P-Series Sigs which were never this difficult to swap out. I had an interesting time budging the front sight and the slide kept wanting to move. Was not at all enjoyable but the new sights went in and adjusted with less issues. *** video of this sight pusher in action https://youtu.be/5WZvzZN2nvc?si=sTP8V8NXM-IRPqOX ![]() ![]()

Thanks everyone. That blue vism one is the one I have. I will try again and hope it doesn't snap off. I tried both directions. I'll grab my soldering iron and heat it up too I guess. Wish me luck. Not minority enough!

The one I had with the X-ray sights, I had to use a pin and hammer to get off. I recently put a rear set on a new Grey Goose Precision/Glock clone slide and wound up screwing up my sight tool. Some of these sights must go/need to go, on these slides with hydraulic presses.
